Ben View House Bed and Breakfast is one of the oldest buildings in Clifden and dates back to 1848. Martin and Bridget McGrath purchased the house in 1926 and turned it into a guesthouse. Their grandchildren are still proudly carrying on a tradition of warm welcomes and fine service started by Martin and Bridget. The Ben View combines the old world charm of the building with modern and efficient service.

The rooms at Ben View House Bed and Breakfast are furnished to a high quality. Rooms reflect the history of the building but have a modern twist. American Express, Mastercard, Visa are all accepted.
Food and Beverage
Breakfast is served each day in the breakfast room. The silver teapots & coffee pots used by Bridget Mc Grath are still used to bring some extra magic to your morning meal. There are a number of cafés, pubs and restaurants in the local area to meet you lunch and evening meal needs.

Ben View House Bed and Breakfast is in the charming coastal village of Clifden in County Galway. Clifden is the Connemara area's largest town and is often referred to as "the Capital of Connemara". The Twelve Bens, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey a neo-gothic large country house built in 1868 by Mitchell Henry, in memory of his wife Margaret, are just some of the sights to see while in Clifden.
